Face Lift

As we age, our skin and tissues gradually become less elastic, leading to sagging and wrinkles. Fortunately, people who frequently fluctuate in weight can seek out a face lift surgery, also known as "Rhytidectomy", to restore a more youthful look.

The objective of facelift surgery is to provide a rejuvenated, aesthetically pleasing appearance to the face. Surgery entails lifting the skin of the face to produce a toned and wrinkle-free complexion.

Who is Suitable for Face Lift Surgery?

If you are over the age of 40 and have developed wrinkles and sagging on your face, a facelift may be an option for you. It's also possible to perform other related surgeries, such as a neck lift or eyelid aesthetics, eyebrow lifts, or forehead lifts at the same time. Even if you are younger than that age, it is still possible to undergo the procedure.

How is Face Lift Surgery Performed?

Facelift surgery can be performed in a variety of different ways, such as Mini Facelifts, Classic Face Lifts, or Non-Surgical procedures.

Mini Face Lift

For those with mild wrinkles or sagging, mini facelift surgery can be a viable solution. Hairline incisions are made near or within the creases of the ear and through them, the underlying muscles of the cheeks are repositioned, any jowls are removed and then facial tissue is adjusted to its desired shape.

Conventional Face Lift

Typically, people 40 and above are candidates for face lift surgery due to pronounced wrinkles and facial sagging. The goal of the procedure is to address skin laxity from the top of the mouth to just beneath the eyes. These entry points are created using the natural curves around the front of the ear, beginning slightly behind the hairline near to the temples. To give a lifted appearance to lower part of the face and combat under-chin sagging, incisions are made underneath. This surgery helps to restore a youthful appearance to the face by removing excess skin and suturing it. It may also include reshaping facial fat and tissue for a more youthful look, softening or eliminating wrinkles and giving the skin a more youthful contour.
